Corey Avenue European-style Sunday Market
Mimosas, Market, Music and Movies are the catchwords for a European-style street market on Corey Avenue in St. Pete Beach on the block in front of the Beach Theatre. The market features a mix of produce and food vendors, musicians, plant and flower merchants, artists and crafts persons, a doggie bone baker and other unique vendors. Many of the local restaurants and cafes will be offering mimosas and brunch during the market hours. The market will be open each Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the middle of Corey Avenue between Blind Pass Road and Boca Ciega Drive. The Corey Sunday Market is modeled after St. Petersburg’s highly successful Saturday market but will include vendors displaying their wares under umbrellas as well as the usual tents. The market will be managed by David Cellon, former manager of St. Petersburg’s Saturday Morning Market. Parking for the market will be at several clearly marked parking lots within one block of the market. Vendors, musicians, artists and craft persons wishing to participate in the market should contact Suntan Art Center at suntanartcenter@verizon.net for application and market policies.
